-1 stupid ring that i thought i lost.

i've recently come to the realization that the "me" of high school was very different from the "me" of college. ....and now, because of a seemingly (in the big picture) insignificant thing that happened, i realize i've become very different from the college "me". 

i bought a ring last year to reward myself for paying my car off in a year (um....explain THAT logic!?? dave would not approve). this past week, i lost the ring (in california, nonetheless). now, if you knew me a few years ago, this would be one of those freak out moments. like, "omg, the world is ending" and then i would proceed to have heart palpitations and maybe a panic attack.

you know what is so great!? i didn't even CARE! what the heck...yes, this is one of those moments when i realized that i have indeed, become a very different person. and it made me glad. i was more mad about spending the money on a piece of junk that has absolutely no eternal value....and then i began to think of all the things i could do with $900. 

- 2- number of CHILDREN you could SAVE a year

- 900- number of PEOPLE you could PROVIDE with water for a year

- 18- New Testament recordings for UNREACHED people in Sudan

and the list could go on.... thank God for sanctification. thank God that He provides us with a means to help other people. this friends, is how we become the hands and feet of Jesus; how we run the race for least of these....
